Tenderness and violence is inspired by a poem that I have written when I was depressed. It is about my self-struggle, some anger, some emotions. They are all private and honest. These photographs combine both tenderness and violence, gentle and cruel, reluctance and abandon. They are some fragments that visualize the poem, which could be viewed independently as well.

 

這輯攝影作品的靈感源自我早前寫過的一篇隨筆。(見原文本) 內容是關於一些當刻的想法，以及一些私人感受。正因為私人，所以真誠。這些影像集合了一些溫柔與暴烈、軟弱與殘酷、離棄與不捨。它們既碎片化地呈現隨筆之內容，亦可以被獨立觀賞。

From the growing spines on land to the leavings of the gentle rabbit; From mourning and burning to the unknown dead; with the turning point "at the eternity's gate" in between the two phrases. This is a path where I can only walk on my own.

長刺的芽苗；柔弱稚嫩的離去；大門內的內心崩塌；悼念及殆盡的；無以名狀的死亡。這是一道只有我一人才可走完的路。
